The Ghost of Kant

What could be better than a vacation... with adventures! However, engineer Vasily Merkuryev, who dreamed of a cold sea and autumn forest, does not want any adventures!.. But they begin as soon as he arrives at a small hotel by... the sea. The owner introduces him to the guests, among whom are a student, a bored young man, a girl clearly on the prowl, and... a young witch. Merkuryev, of course, does not believe in witches at all. And then, as if in mockery, the surrounding reality begins to play strange tricks on him: an ancient book about the life of the philosopher Kant seems to be read by someone, the fire in the fireplace ignites by itself, and at the abandoned lighthouse, there is... a murder. Vasily Merkuryev is certain that there are no witches, ghosts, or spirits - and he constantly encounters secret or obvious traces of their presence. Even love with the young witch - or not a witch?.. - seems to have been foretold to him by otherworldly forces... Sometimes it is indeed hard to believe. Even harder to realize and accept! But if you allow yourself to believe - life turns out to be full of wonders, and not made-up ones, but very real ones!
