The Asphalt Smells Like Mint

Dan came from Russia to Chicago to study at the university. His parents carefully chose the profession of a lawyer for him and paid for his education. The semester is going its course: the 19-year-old guy attends classes, makes new... acquaintances, and falls in love. At first glance, everything seems perfect, but cornered by his parents' expectations, Dan is not living his own life. He is stuck in thought and stands on the brink of a precipice — one wrong move will lead to collapse. The book shows the moment of painful and inevitable transition into adulthood.
