The anthology of patristic writings for the feast of Epiphany (Baptism of the Lord) includes works from different traditions and eras, by Byzantine, Latin, and Russian authors — from St. Basil the Great to St. Luke of Crimea. The publication is preceded by an introductory article by P.Yu. Malkov, intended to familiarize the reader in a clear and accessible way with the most important theological and moral features of the patristic teaching on the spiritual and moral significance of the church holiday.
