Lyceum 2025. Ninth Issue

The book includes the texts of the winners – prose writers Svetlana Pavlova, Anna Basner, Anna Babina, and poets Sergey Kalashnikov, Yulia Krylova, and Maria Zatonskaya.
In the texts of the laureates of the “Lyceum” award, I notice a keen attention... to modernity. They contain life right here and now: its realities, its props, its physiology. 
Modernity is meticulously studied and acquires its own voice. But, more importantly, the “lyceumists” do not forget about the past, which unwaveringly declares itself in their works. 
The prose of the finalists of the “Lyceum” award seems to me extremely talented and promising.
The ability to solve complex artistic tasks is impressive. I hope that our reader will duly appreciate these interesting and talented texts.

2. The book includes six works: “Screenwriter” by Svetlana Pavlova (1st place), “The Last Leaf” by Anna Basner (2nd place), “Signs of Indifference” by Anna Babina (3rd place). In the “Poetry” nomination – “And Here They Are” by Sergey Kalashnikov, “Light Sensitivity” by Yulia Krylova, “Witness” by Maria Zatonskaya.
3. Svetlana Pavlova's book will be published by Elena Shubina's Editing in the fall.
