Little Men

Before becoming a world-famous author, L.M. Alcott (1832—1888) worked as a nurse during the Civil War, fought against slavery, and was one of the first participants in the women's suffrage movement. She viewed the world and wrote about it as... she lived, with faith in the future, with love and compassion for people.
