When an old friend reached out to me asking to take a look at an unusual house plan he was considering buying, my attention was drawn to the mysterious empty space on the first floor. So, I contacted a familiar architect, Kurihara. He was immediately intrigued by the unconventional layout, noting several oddities: a children’s room without windows, the suspicious arrangement of rooms, and a secret passage… Kurihara proposed a wild theory, which would have remained just that if a dismembered body without a left hand had not been later found nearby.
