The recipe for the perfect vacation: croissants, wine, and… murders!

Nine months ago, Sadie Green quit her dull office job in suburban Chicago and bought a French cycling tour company called “PeDAli.” Now she lives the life of her dreams in a picturesque French village and is ready to show friends, including her former boss Dom Appleton, the beauty of France and cycling. Her carefully planned nine-day itinerary promises stunning coastal views, delightful wine tastings, mountain villages, and, of course, frequent stops for croissants.

However, at the very beginning of the tour, Dom deviates from the route and dies, leaving Sadie with a huge sense of guilt. When she learns that his death was not an accident but a cold-blooded murder, and realizing that dark clouds are gathering over “PeDAli,” she begins her own investigation. But soon another tourist dies…
