The recipe for the perfect vacation: croissants, wine, and… murders!

Nine months ago, Sadie Green quit her dreary office job in suburban Chicago and bought a French bicycle tour company called "PeDAli." Now she lives the life of her dreams in... a picturesque French village and is ready to show her friends, including her former boss Dom Appleton, the beauty of France and cycling. Her meticulously planned nine-day itinerary promises stunning seaside views, delightful wine tastings, mountain villages, and of course, frequent stops for croissants.

However, at the very beginning of the tour, Dom diverts from the route and is killed, leaving Sadie with immense guilt. Learning that his death was not an accident but a cold-blooded murder, and realizing that clouds are gathering over "PeDAli," she begins her own investigation. But soon, another tourist is killed…
