The story of the family is inseparable from the land where the parents, their parents, and their ancestors lived. And... sometimes, in order to accept oneself, one must love this land, unconditionally accept everything it offers. Understanding this, Tass, a modern young woman, returns from mainland France to tropical New Caledonia – to a blooming archipelago in the middle of the ocean. She is firmly determined to teach and live only her own life.
