The story of the family is inseparable from the land where the parents, their parents, and their ancestors lived. And sometimes, in order to accept oneself, one must love this land, unconditionally accept everything it offers. Understanding this, Tass, a modern young woman, returns from mainland France to tropical New Caledonia – to a blooming archipelago in the middle of the ocean. She is firmly determined to teach and live only her own life. But one day her students – twins with the same tattoos – go missing, and Tass sets out to find them, not suspecting that an overwhelming journey south will reveal to her a new story of this incredible land and her family lineage.
