Nine Lives of October

Nine different authors combined their efforts and, in six weeks, wrote an amazing, vivid novel about a fictional town of Zavyalovsk, frozen in time like amber. Here, everyone who receives a ticket to a movie screening will gain a chance to change everything. This can be done in different ways: some will want to be with their beloved, while others will want to be with their only friend. Some will find themselves in a different time and place, while others, previously carefree, will find the meaning of life. There will be those who decide to become almost a god. And all of them will need to disappear for this.

Burnt-out journalist of a provincial newspaper Maxim Enski sees a connection between the disappearances of Zavyalovsk residents, which leads him to dusty library archives, the streets of the city, and his own past — to the one who stands behind all this. He is beyond reality, and in general... is he even human?
