The hero of the revolution, Aisyo, returns to his native Polesia to take up the position of governor. But instead of a quiet life next to his loved ones and his people, the demon is met with an ecological catastrophe that has destroyed the capital of Polesia — Iolim.
Now Aisyo and his three unwilling companions — a simple-minded priest of the forest cult, a prince who has escaped arrest, and his pursuer, a secret agent — must uncover the reasons for the catastrophe that threatens all of Polesia and free the inhabitants of Iolim, who have fallen into captivity of one of the Eternals — the Great Forest.
But are these trials within the capabilities of one who has long known no peace?
