The Last Kaidan

For ten years, detective Oda Nobutaka has been trying to uncover the mysterious death of his cousin, whose insides suddenly turned to liquid. Before his death, the cousin handed Nobutaka a stub of a blue candle – this is why the investigator takes on all cases involving blue wax. When the keeper of a similar candle dies in a fire, the detective gets a new lead. During the investigation, he encounters an ancient curse: hundreds of years ago, four samurai recited kaidans on the days of mourning the dead, bringing misfortune to their descendants… And now a whole series of terrible deaths follows them.
