This collection is a logical continuation of the collection «For the Beginning Guitarist. Pieces, studies, exercises for students of grades 1-2 of the music school». The pieces located on the first pages of the collection aim to consolidate the knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired in the 1st grade of the children's music school.

The main goal of the collection is to help the beginning musician become a performer. The next task is to teach him to reveal the content of the piece. Simple technical performance only demonstrates the ability to handle the instrument. Emotional, vivid performance allows one to reveal the character of the piece and convey its content to the listener. Many pieces in the collection have titles that will help perceive the musical material figuratively. The sequence of material in the collection contributes to systematic technical and artistic preparation, as well as the creative growth of the student.

A feature of the collection is that it is entirely based on original material: all studies and pieces are composed by the author specifically for this collection and not only solve technical tasks but also differ in their musicality, which makes the learning process more effective and interesting.
