Oblomov

Oblomov, a young nobleman, prefers to spend his days in cozy laziness, dreaming of a bright future. In his world, everything is stable: a soft robe, a harmful but devoted servant, and eternal reflections. Everything changes after meeting Olga Ilyinskaya – a smart and determined girl. She intends to change Oblomov's habitual life. But is love capable of waking up one who does not want to wake up?

When Goncharov wrote the first scene of the future novel, no one, not even the author himself, could have imagined that his hero would become a symbol of an entire era, and the word "oblomovshchina" would become a household name.
