Myths about the Church

One of the most popular programs of the TV channel «Spas» «Myths about the Church» is now available in book format. The spiritual life of a person, even one who is pious, is fraught with many challenges and trials; myths and superstitions impede the path to God. Over the long centuries of its existence, the Church has fought against many misconceptions, but some have proven to be so resilient that they remain unrooted to this day. Nevertheless, this work continues successfully, and this book is part of that effort, presenting — and debunking — a variety of myths and superstitions related to the Church, from quite harmless «folk signs» to misinterpreted theological dogmas.
