Abomination

It is the year 1924. An expedition to the peak of the highest mountain in the world is halted due to the shocking disappearance of two participants. By the following year, three mountaineers - a British poet, a French guide... from Chamonix, and an idealistic American - are preparing for a new ascent to the summit. Lady Bromley donates money for the expedition, her son having also disappeared on Mount Everest in 1924. Young Bromley is most likely dead, but his mother refuses to believe it and outfits the brave men in the hope that they will bring her beloved son home.
Deep in Tibet, the three mountaineers, joined by the cousin of the missing boy, discover that someone has been stalking them all night... or something.
Soon this nightmare becomes a matter of life and death - what lurks in the snowy mist? And what is behind the mysterious disappearances? As they push towards the "summit of the world," the adventurers uncover a secret far more grotesque than any repulsive mythical creature.
