The collection includes works from the «Russian Folk Black Book» by the famous collector and researcher of Russian folklore Ivan Petrovich Sakharov, the work of Vladimir Ivanovich Dal, author of the Explanatory Dictionary of the Russian Language, «On the Beliefs, Superstitions, and Prejudices of the Russian People», tales, true stories and legends about mythological characters, recorded by researchers of folk culture and life in the second half of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century.
