This book is part of a trilogy exploring patterns in nature. In it, the author examines how natural forms are created and explains why similar structures are found in completely different conditions.
Patterns appear everywhere in nature — in the string of clouds in the sky, in the stripes of the angelfish, in the crown of a flower. Remarkably, this order is created by itself — all natural patterns we see arise from self-organization.
