Briefly about the Main. Watching Short Films: A Guide for Students Learning Russian as a Foreign Language

The guide includes 9 modern original short films on a disk, created by young Russian directors, and a workbook with assignments related to the films, including full texts of the films and answer keys. Each film is a glimpse into contemporary life and relationships between people, a reflection and understanding of Russian reality, relevant themes and issues, and a lively spoken language of youth and adolescents. Some of the presented films have participated in and won awards at film festivals. The guide is designed to develop students' speaking skills, expand their vocabulary, and introduce them to modern Russian realities. It is intended for working with foreign students who have a Russian language proficiency level of TRKI II, TRKI III (B1-B2).
