Irkutsk. Baikal (+ DVD). Teaching Aid

«Irkutsk. Baikal» — a comprehensive teaching aid from the series «Traveling around Russia», which includes a reading book with texts and tasks, as well as a DVD containing two films. The first film «Irkutsk — the middle of the world»... introduces students to the history, architecture, and cultural life of the city of Irkutsk. The second film «Lake Baikal» is dedicated to one of the most astonishing freshwater lakes on our planet, its animal and plant world.
The aid also contains reading texts: a shortened and adapted story by V. Rasputin «Lessons of French» and articles by journalists about the cultural life of Irkutsk.
The aid is intended for foreigners mastering the I certification level (BI) of Russian as a foreign language (RKI), as well as for the children of our compatriots living abroad. The material of the aid may be useful for students of secondary general education schools in Russia and for anyone interested in Russian history and culture.
