One Day of Miss Pettigrew

Miss Pettigrew, the daughter of a vicar and a modest governess who finds herself out of work, takes a position with a young actress and immediately enters the high society of London in the 1930s: luxurious nightclubs, chic outfits, incredible men, and romantic intrigues. She could be stunned and flee back to her familiar - dull, impoverished, but reliable - existence, but the desire to see the elite not on the cinema screen wins. And Miss Pettigrew stays. She does not yet know that this one day will change her entire life.
