Mistress of Runes

Orphans Airin and Barren work in a tavern. One day, an unusual foreigner starts asking Barren strange questions: is there a guard, how many of them... She also secretly reveals that a bag with a rune protecting the village from the plague must contain gold. Deciding to check this, the boy opens the bag. However, the paper with the protective runes immediately burns, and inside it is empty. Trying to save her brother from the anger of the rune master, Airin forges a note. Seeing potential in the girl, the rune master takes the orphans under his wing and sets off on a journey across the country with them. Thus, Airin and Barren find themselves drawn into a game of dark forces, where sorcerers and dragons are conducting their secret affairs. Where did Airin's power come from? Is there something dark inside her? And will the brother and sister be able to resist evil?
