It has been more than two thousand years since the coming of Christ to Earth. During this time, many people familiar with the Gospel story have been continually troubled by the following question: why did one of the Twelve apostles... of Jesus – Judas Iscariot – betray Christ? Was it really for money? How could someone send to death Him who performed so many miracles, who healed, resurrected, walked on water, etc.?
If Judas, as stated in the Gospel of John, was a thieving treasurer of the community of Jesus, then why would he, to put it metaphorically, «cut the chicken that lays the golden eggs»? Moreover, why return the money to the high priests after the arrest of Christ and end his life by suicide?
This book presents a new, original, and, in general, non-contradictory to the Bible version of what really happened between Jesus and his apostle.
