The Murder Room

One of the co-owners of a small private museum dies under shocking circumstances. It is possible that psychiatrist Neville Dupain decided to end his life in such an exotic way, but it is equally likely that this was a carefully disguised murder. The investigation considers the murder theory more likely – after all, almost all of the deceased’s relatives and museum staff had motives. And after a young woman's body, holding a bouquet of violets, is presented to shocked visitors in one of the museum halls, all doubts are eliminated. Commander Dalgliesh gets to work.
