To compile the list of hieroglyphs with similar forms, basic teaching aids used for teaching children in primary and secondary schools in China were analyzed. The publication contains a general list of hieroglyphs with similar forms, an analysis of the most common hieroglyphs from the list, complex exercises, and options for control and test works. Hieroglyphs with similar forms are one of the reasons for mistakes made when reading or writing hieroglyphs. This textbook can serve as a good support for developing hieroglyphic competence in those studying Chinese as a foreign language.
