Science in Search of God

Considering the worldview adopted within the Judeo-Christian-Muslim traditions, the proofs of God's existence and the notions of religious experience, Sagan calls for "informed worship." He examines the religious evidence for the existence of God, pays much attention to the questions... of the origin of life, the existence of intelligent life beyond the Solar System, and the threat of humanity's self-destruction. Along the way, he discusses how human understanding of the surrounding world has formed and changed, and offers listeners the idea that science is not an anti-divine tool, but rather, on the contrary, allows us to better understand what is happening around us.
