The play gained a reputation as cursed from its very first performance due to accidents on stage. One of the darkest and most brutal tragedies of the great Shakespeare, the story of internal struggle and mockery of fate, about the fall of a soul that desired power, has been thrilling readers and audiences for four centuries. 
Three witches predict to the brave commander Macbeth that he will become the king of Scotland. Was it real or just a vision, a play of a weary mind after battle? But on the very same day, Macbeth comes a step closer to the crown, as the ominous old hags foretold... And now seditious dreams of power seize the heart of a man who was just yesterday a loyal vassal of the king.
But the throne is not free, and therefore blood must be spilled.
