People Without Inner Glow

The main character lives in the shadow of her mother, dissatisfied with her life and career as an actress. Her father is the director of a psychiatric clinic. He advises patients with depression and other mental issues to divide their... lives into certain time segments in order to better control it. He gives the same advice to his daughter when his wife dies.

In twelve short chapters, we will follow different moments from the heroine's life as she recalls her past, tries to cope with loss, creates stories, and suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder. The girl strives with all her might to succeed, to become a "person with inner glow," but how can she achieve this? On the brink of turning thirty, she decides to sit down to write a novel. But will she be able to write a truly good text?
