The title of the new collection by Eli Wainerman very accurately reflects what the poet is talking about—these are brief sketches from his everyday surroundings, and one or two phrases, like breathing in and out, about meetings and losses, and unhurried reflections: rarely joyful, more often sorrowful, in which the awareness sounds that everything in our world is transient, only the flow of time is eternal...
