Year of the Leviathan

Since childhood, Hildy has worn the mark of a traitor on her wrist. She is accustomed to disdain and poverty, and it seems to her that it cannot get any worse, until one day she accidentally breaks a strange orb filled with shimmering mist in the gift shop. From that moment on, Hildy is followed by a stranger, her brother behaves suspiciously, and days disappear somewhere. And under the ice of Lake Mutt, turquoise scales flicker!
