The answer is obvious - a guide to the mysterious races and terrifying creatures that inhabit it: from indescribable and infinitely powerful beings to pitiful... wretches whose fate is to feast on the remains in ancient crypts or to hide their hideous forms in dark caves. A detailed illustrated Bestiary was needed.
The opportunity to fill this annoying gap came in the form of a stack of dirty, crumpled sheets printed on an ancient typewriter, supposedly discovered during the sorting of an archive in a tiny research institute lost in the Russian hinterland.
From this dust and ashes, we painstakingly restored a work titled "Providence Dossier: On the Genesis of Lovecraftian Chimeras," while the wonderful artist Victoria Khrustaleva bravely reconstructed the faded pencil sketches on the yellowed pages. Thus was born the book that will lead you, dear reader, to the very edge of the Abyss and partially unveil the veil of mystery over the strange worlds that exist parallel to ours. Worlds that you may have wandered through in your deepest dreams and nightmarish visions.
