The Storm

"The Storm" was born from Ostrovsky's literary expedition along the Volga and from the passionate love of the young playwright for the actress Lyubov Kositskaya. It was her best traits that were embodied in the character of Katerina Kabanova, and... she was the first to perform this role on stage. The play became a loud event in the literary life of its time and has not left the theatrical stage to this day.
