"Arkham Horror" is a unique, engaging board game in the adventure genre, specially designed for fearless adventurers who are ready to challenge fate and the gods.<\/p>\r\n

Nightmare at the dawn of the 20th century
The year is 1926, and the world is on the brink of extinction... An ancient and powerful being is ready to awaken and cover the known world in darkness. Portals are opening all over the world, from which various monsters emerge, and ancient cults are rising from their knees. But a group of heroes emerges, ready to risk everything to prevent the impending horror. Fearless travelers embark on a journey across the world: from the snowy peaks of the Himalayas to the bustling streets of San Francisco, to gather clues, solve mysteries, defeat monsters, and protect the world from otherworldly threats. Are you ready to join them and stake everything you hold dear for the salvation of this world?<\/p>\r\n

How to play?
"Arkham Horror" is a cooperative game for 1-8 players. Each player chooses one of twelve investigators, who differ in health, sanity, and five skills: knowledge, communication, attention, strength, and will. As they travel the world, investigators solve mysteries, fall into traps, and fight monsters. During the game, players will also acquire various useful items, find allies, artifacts, and spells.<\/p>\r\n

Each round of the game consists of three phases:<\/p>\r\n

Action Phase, in which players move around the game board, purchase necessary items, allies, and various services, as well as tickets for ships and trains for quicker travel around the world.
Contact Phase – in this phase, players enter one of three contacts: combat, location, and token contact. Most often, a card is drawn for a specific type of contact, describing events, whether positive or negative.
Myth Phase – in which the lead player draws a Myth card and plays the effects of that card in the specified order. Each effect impacts your game session in its own way.<\/p>\r\n

Game Features
"Forgotten Secrets" will introduce many new artifacts, myths, and spells through which players will fight ancient mythical beings. The expansion also adds a new Ancient – Father of Serpents Yig, who is ready to introduce a new chapter into the established rules of the world. Become an investigator, seek out new contacts, and battle uninvited guests.<\/p>\r\n
