Epidemic D

In the 16th century, hundreds of residents of Strasbourg in Alsace danced all day long, unable to stop, and many collapsed dead from exhaustion. Almost four hundred years later, the dance epidemic returns, this time to a quiet resort town on Cape Cod. The police are baffled, panic-stricken rumors spread through the town, and the disaster reaches such proportions that it attracts the attention of the national press. For twelve-year-old Ben Graves and his two friends, the inexplicable dance sickness is merely a harbinger of the impending horror.
