The Emperor personally leads the Great Crusade among the stars, and there is nothing more important to the Master of Mankind than to find his sons scattered across the galaxy: the Primarchs, each destined to lead a legion of Space... Marines. After reunion, such an army becomes a reflection of its master - both his virtues and his vices. For the XII Legion, the former War Hounds, now World Eaters, the line between virtue and vice is barely discernible. Burdened with a warrior host that is foreign to him, in service to a father he hates, Angron puts his sons before a difficult choice - a choice that will turn the legion onto a one-way path.
