Chorusian Wars. Embodiment

A darkness looms over Dominicus Prim - the season of Night, bringing with it ill omens, madness, and strange events. A solitary beacon in the dark stands the monastery of the Last Candle, a temple of the blessed light of the Emperor. But while bishops and cardinals vie for power and influence, the plight of the starving crowds of pilgrims becomes critical. Discord rages. Rumors crawl of a rising cult linked to bloodshed and horrors. Into this powder keg of intrigue descend Inquisitor Covenant and his followers. They have come to the ecclesiastical world, following the prophetic tarot layout of the Emperor, to find the agents of the Triumvirate - the sect of the Chorusian who also seeks dominion. Covenant believes these radicals seek the Embodiment: the true divine vessel, a living saint. He can only guess at their purpose, but knows not to expect anything good. The Inquisitor must stop the Chorusian at all costs - perhaps his actions will determine the fate of the entire sector..
