Mortis

The Saturnian victories have faded like yesterday's hopes. The sacrifices at the Eternity Spaceport were in vain. Cast aside but not defeated, the traitors storm the Palace with renewed strength. Now the main spaceports are in the hands of Lupercal,... and the war master exhausts the heavens, bringing reserves into battle. The pressure strengthens, and the power of Chaos grows. In reality, the defenders are drowning in despair, while dreams drive them to seek a false paradise. As the fortifications crumble and the will of the loyalists weakens, Horus commands the titans of Legio Mortis to breach the walls of the Palace. The traitors face the might of the wall of Mercury and the army of Legio Ignatum. Ancient rivals, the war machines of the two legios clash in battle, while inside the fortifications a handful of desperate souls tries to repel the tide of the warp's insidious influence.
