The End of the Chapter. In 2 Volumes

The trilogy "The End of the Chapter" is connected to the Forsyte cycle. The reader will once again meet familiar characters from the "Saga": Fleur, Michael, Lady Mont, and others. The main character of the trilogy, Dinny Cherrell, embodies England... itself for the author. Kindness and selflessness, devotion to family interests and moral principles help Galsworthy's heroes overcome serious trials.

"The End of the Chapter" is the writer's last work. In this work, as in all of Galsworthy's creations, there is his inherent gentle humor, wisdom, and optimism. Through one of the characters in the novel, he states: "Would human life — and it is so fragile — have survived against all our troubles and hardships if it were not worth living in this world?
