The Black Guardian

The ruler of the duchy of Kanan is executed by the king's order. Chaos reigns in the captured capital, the inhabitants suffer from hunger and disease, and are subjected to violence from the hired soldiers of the royal army. Yet... hope remains: the duke's children, Lord Bromwi and Lady Bronwen, have managed to escape death.
Finding themselves in a hostile land, Bromwi, who is pursued by the servants of the One God, attempts to reclaim his city with the help of the mysterious inhabitants of the Darkwald forest, the people of the outcasts. Lady Bronwen finds refuge in an area called the Herb Sea, among the wounded people, but the king's warriors are hot on her trail. And Algenon Slyza, the supreme leader of the distant northern land of Fjorlan, sends a fleet of drakkars to fight against the army of the Knights of the Red Order. A bloody fratricidal Long War begins.
