The brothers from Montana, Gustav and Otto Amlingmeier, better known as Old Red and Tall Red, are not spoiled by life: all their relatives have died, and they themselves have to take on the hardest work for a couple of dollars, barely enough for sustenance. But one day, the joyless existence of the two cowboys is illuminated: they become acquainted with the stories of Sherlock Holmes. Now Gustav is determined to follow in the footsteps of his idol, and soon he gets a chance to demonstrate his deductive abilities: the brothers are hired at a mysterious ranch full of secrets—and corpses…
