Dark Island

For fans of the "Shetland" series by Ann Cleeves. Orkney Islands, Scotland. After a storm that raged all night, remains are found on the shore that are at least ten years old. The police suspect they belong to local residents... – schoolgirl Ola and her boyfriend Liam. The young people disappeared many years ago, and their car was found on the cliff. For a long time, there were rumors that Ola and Liam jumped off the cliff, however, the girl's mother always believed that Liam killed her daughter and then disappeared himself, hiding from justice. But in light of recent events, none of these versions are confirmed. The police reopen the case, and journalist Freya Sinclair, who grew up in the Orkney Islands but only recently returned home with her husband, takes on her own investigation.
