Probably, there is no person on Earth who is not in love with cinema. Since childhood, we watch films, cartoons and cannot even imagine that cinema is one of the youngest forms of visual art.

Pushkin and Gogol not only have never seen a single cartoon or film in their lives, but could not even imagine that such a miracle as moving pictures would ever be invented.

The first commercial film screening took place in Paris on December 28, 1895, in a café on Boulevard des Capucines — on this day, the Lumière brothers showed their short films made with the help of the cinematograph they invented. Thus began the era of cinema.

Cinema has long become a serious sector of the economy — every country in the world has its own film studios. Some countries produce hundreds of films a year. There are films that are watched all over the planet, and their creators earn gigantic incomes.

Now, when our smartphones and cameras can shoot high-resolution video, and special computer programs allow for easy editing and sound overlay, anyone can create their own film. The success of the film depends only on your talent. But real big films cannot be made alone. It is too large-scale production; it requires dozens, and sometimes hundreds of people, to make a quality film.
