I – the Sleeping Door

In the third book, Joseph, a clay baby from a hatbox, already a mature man, concludes the story of his father to a mysterious interlocutor. One of the main plot lines of the novel is related to the laboratory 'SoDeх',... which investigates the causes of strange diseases in people born in Iceland in 1962. It seems that the scientists' task is noble — to save humanity from hereditary diseases, but the author, with his characteristic subtle irony, once again poses delicate questions to the reader. The novel 'I – the Sleeping Door', like the first books of the wonderful trilogy by Syon, is woven from threads of the past and insights about the future, mysterious stories, scientific discoveries, erotica, poetry, and magical realism.
