An eighth grader Tohka is ready to do a lot to become the best at everything! He dreams of being the perfect player in 'Strike', hopes that his classmate Yanka will notice him, and that his teacher mother won't scold him for poorly done homework. It is very important for her that her son behaves perfectly. Meanwhile, mom considers Tohka lazy and talentless.

One May evening, Tohka and his friend Fedya were telling each other scary stories about evil spirits, about who met whom or about whom they heard. Tohka is sure that mermaids, leshies and house spirits exist, as it is beneficial for his plans! But are otherworldly beings as harmless as he thinks?
