The Bench of Sinners

First-year student Ava Mason is sure: the academic year promises to be interesting. At the very least, it won't let Colton Thompson, the center of the Great Lake university team, get bored. No one irritates Ava more than this arrogant hockey player. At their first meeting, the girl slaps him, and the offended Colton is determined to get revenge at all costs. Fate continues to intervene, and their paths, in the most incredible ways, constantly cross. From mutual hatred, amidst barbs and jokes, attraction blossoms, and it becomes increasingly difficult to sort out their feelings. Moreover, Colton and Ava are too busy fighting their own demons: Ava is trying to adjust to university life, while Colton, aiming for a professional sports career, is dealing with family drama. Both are striving for victory, as no one wants to find themselves on the penalty bench. But maybe someone should concede after all?
