The Murderer's Mansion

December 1902. In his own home in Khamovniki, the wife and eldest daughter of a famous Austrian brewer are brutally murdered. The youngest daughter, who was wounded, was rushed to the hospital. Here, in the kitchen, the murder weapon was found – a bloody axe. Police suspicion falls on the man who first discovered the bodies and possibly knew about the cash banknotes hidden in the secret stash that had disappeared. However, there was no direct evidence against the suspect during the investigation. The case had to be suspended... A year later, judicial investigator Ivan Volovtsov uncovered previously unknown circumstances of the incident.
