Forester Getin Thomas struggles to make ends meet in his hometown in North Wales. Bright, charming, but unambitious, he does not lose hope of becoming a homeowner. Ti Gwidr - a beautiful house by the lake, which he looks after... in search of its absent English owners - has been unoccupied for so long that he has come to consider it his own. Get's idyll comes to an end when the owners decide to sell Ti Gwidr, and Olwen, his first love, who left the small town for a new life in London, returns to North Wales with her husband. Get and Olwen find themselves drawn into the past; their youthful feelings reignite. However, they must think about whether this is the love story they dreamed of.
