The police had long suspected that somewhere on the outskirts of the empire there existed a special criminal enterprise that helped bandits launder marked money and securities. "The Big Laundry" - that's what the detectives called it. As soon as... the Department of Police had a lead leading to Tiflis, Lykov set off for the Caucasus to conduct an investigation... Upon arrival, it turned out that the Tiflis Treasury's services for laundering stolen money were being used by fraudsters, bandits, and terrorists from all over the country. The investigation by the capital's guest did not sit well with the leaders of the "laundry". As soon as Lykov began the inquiry, important witnesses started to perish one after another. Someone was clearly steering the detective off the right path... and leading directly to death.
