Paris. Our days. Former criminal analyst Emil Gershi and his art historian sister Zoya, who can see the souls of criminals through and through, investigate the disappearance of boys from the Henry IV Lyceum, who were fascinated by black magic. Child psychologist and blogger Vera Maximova arrives in Paris at their invitation to untangle the complex connection between a literature teacher suspected of a series of murders and his students, but falls under the spell of a possible maniac nicknamed 'The Ghost of the Tuileries.' Twenty years ago, young women were found dead in the Tuileries Garden. Dressed in carnival costumes, they sat like dolls with deep punctures in their bodies. Could it be that the teacher was not caught, but has now aged and amuses himself by staging costume performances, watched from the windows of his apartment? Soon his student is discovered, dressed in a dress and killed with a sharp object… But is the killer really the teacher?
