Widower Reiichi Miyamoto, an ordinary middle-level employee, suddenly marries Akiko Iwaki, a successful career woman. His little daughter Miyuki, still longing for her deceased mother, takes the appearance of a stepmother in the house negatively. Akiko tries her best to... be a caring mother to her and manage the household, but for a former career woman who dedicated herself to work for a long time and therefore does not know some elementary things, this turns into an endless series of comical situations.
