Awakening

State of Louisiana, late 19th century. Edna and Leonce Pontellier, a couple with two small children, are vacationing at a boarding house on the Gulf of Mexico. Edna is a beauty and a clever woman, Leonce is a successful businessman. But in the relationship of this seemingly perfect couple, a crack begins to form.
